Susan Shaw

Susan Shaw had been out of work for over 20 years due to raising her family; as a result Susan had low self esteem and was not confident with the skills that she could offer an employer. After talking with Susan we discovered that she was a very friendly and enthusiastic person with a willingness to learn new skills. She wanted to work in the catering sector and we were able to secure a temporary contact for Susan at a local primary school. After this placement Susan had the self confidence and realised that she had the skills to offer an employer as well as a work reference. We secured a job interview with City University who are known for their structured training programmes. Susan was successful at interview and was offered a permanent position.
